HOW TO USE

• Chicco breast milk storage bags are pre-sterilized and should not be washed before use. CAUTION! Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before using the bag. Avoid touching the inside of the bag.
• Break or cut with scissors the security seal at the top of the bag and open it by gently pulling on both sides of the seal.
• To pour in the breast milk, hold the top of the bag open by gently squeezing both ends of the seal between your index finger and thumb, and fully expand the base of the bag to gradually monitor the amount of milk being introduced.
• Hold the bag with one hand until the volume of milk introduced is sufficient to hold it in a stable vertical position.
• If a more accurate measurement of breast milk is required, you should use a bottle that complies with EN14350 or a more accurate measuring device
from the bag.
• Pour the breast milk into the bag taking care not to exceed the maximum capacity indicated by the calibrated scale.
• Remove any excess air by sliding gently with your fingers, above the level of the milk, towards the airtight seal.
• Seal the bag by pressing the double seal. Repeat the process to ensure a secure seal.
• The bags can be stored upright or horizontally in the refrigerator or freezer.
• Once filled, this product may break if dropped, especially if frozen. If this happens, make sure it is not damaged and that there are no leaks.
• For future reference, write the volume of milk introduced and the date of extraction in the space provided on the bag. Use the milk, starting with the oldest, following the order of extraction.
